Hog Day provides a variety of entertainment starting Friday night during the "Hog Day Family Reunion" and running all day Saturday. We feature local entertainment with musicians performing a variety of music from gospel, bluegrass and beach to Elvis, southern rock and top 40.
6:00 - Blue52
Blue52 is a Hillsborough based bluegrass band. The group features Hillsborough natives David Crabtree on mandolin and vocals, Alan Forrest on banjo and vocals as well Mebane resident Glenn Garrison on upright bass and vocals and Hillsborough resident Gregg Phillips on guitar and lead vocals. We were featured at the 2013 International Bluegrass Music Association's Music in the Garden series to kick off the international world of bluegrass convention and have performed all over North Carolina over the past 7 years we've been together as a group.
7:30 - Harvey Dalton Arnold - Electric Blues
Harvey Dalton Arnold is a singer, guitarist and North Carolina-native who has a passion for the blues. He sold millions of albums as a member of southern-rock band The Outlaws from 1976-80 and has played at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall. He has also shared the stage with the Rolling Stones at Anaheim Stadium. Harvey performs a left-handed finger-picking style and slide playing on electric and acoustic guitars. He has received much acclaim for founding and performing with The Harvey Dalton Arnold Blues Band.
9:00 - The Hill Country Cosmopolitans
The Hill Country Cosmopolitans bring the sounds Texas Swing to the Carolinas, along with a touch of classic country and even some jazz. Their 3-piece lineup is stripped-down and raw, but their 1940s-era sound is fun, infectious and danceable music that everyone can enjoy.

New Creation of Hillsborough, NC comprised of seven family members who share the common goal, JESUS. We've been blessed to release three recordings with scripture based lyrics and to travel the East Coast telling the world about JESUS. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
12:30 - Chuck Ayers Charlotte's Voice of Elvis
Chuck Ayers, Charlotte's voice of Elvis, has been considered one of the best at what he does. Chuck Ayers will take you back in time to relive the music and legacy of Elvis Presley and to pay tribute to a great man and tribute artist Keith Henderson.
3:00 - Rock and Roll Reunion
Classic rock and beach band "Rock and Roll Reunion" is based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, but the band has a strong Hillsborough connection. Hog Day is a homecoming for band leader and guitarist Tom Crabtree, who grew up in the St. Mary's community and was part of the local music scene in the late 1960s/early 1970s. His band has been featured at nearly all major festivals in Upstate SC and Western NC as well as the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. Enjoy as R&RR takes you for a musical trip through the soul and rock of the 60s!
4:30 - Dixie Revival Band
Dixie Revival Band delivers an enthusiastic mix of music of the best Southern Rock bands of the 70’s. Paying tribute to the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker Band and others this band showcases talent as well as tightness in each song arrangement.
Go back to the days of when music was innovative and performed with feeling. Dixie Revival Band will put a smile on your face as the musical memories of great songs pour out in abundance!
