2025 Food Vendors

Hog Day will take place:

Friday September 12th from 6pm-10pm

Saturday September 13th from 10am-6pm

  • All permits must be submitted to the Vendor Coordinator by August 1st (no exceptions). Late submissions will result in your spot being given to a waiting list vendor, and your payment will not be refunded. A list of required permits will be included in your vendor packet, sent upon payment receipt.

  • Maintain cleanliness at your food serving site and provide hairnets, aprons, and gloves for your staff as needed.

  • Submit a menu of all items you will serve to the Vendor Coordinator by August 1st. Hog Day reserves the right to sell bottled water, soft drinks, and Bar-B-Que. Vendors may sell sweet tea, lemonade, and flavored waters. You can send this via the food vendor application.

  • Your generator must be quiet and odorless; the Vendor Coordinator reserves the right to remove it if it’s too loud.

  • All food vendors must complete a “checkout” with the Vendor Coordinator before leaving to ensure cleanliness and proper trash disposal. Vendors who fail to do this will not be invited back next year. There are vendors who failed to do this last year, and they will not be invited back this year.

  • All vendors must attend both Friday evening and Saturday for approval.

  • An approved fire extinguisher is required; it will be checked upon arrival. Without one, you cannot cook.

  • No dining areas are allowed within your booth space; it is designated for food preparation and service only.

  • Food trucks/trailers must remain on-site overnight Friday, with staff monitoring them.

  • No smoking, including vaping, is permitted on-site.

  • All payments are non-refundable. If you decide not to attend, your payment will not be refunded. Please ensure you can participate, as this is a rain-or-shine event.

  • Vendor spaces must have an attendant present at all times.

  • Once your vendor spot is paid for, you will receive a vendor packet containing:

- A welcome letter and festival information

- A detailed park map with directions

- Vendor parking passes (please park in the designated vendor lot to avoid delays)

- Details about required permits (for food vendors)

- Load-in schedule

  • Spot preferences will not be accommodated. I will create a vendor map and send it out a few days before the event. Vendor spots for similar items are limited; I aim for variety and will not accept more than two vendors of the same type (e.g., two candle vendors).

  • Sign-ups will be on a first-come, first-served basis but you must be approved. I will notify you when the sign-up sight goes live. We are planning on opening signup and payment June 1st.

  • Please remember that it is your responsibility to secure the necessary permits by the required dates. The Orange County Health Department can assist with any questions. They will turn away vendors without proper permits.

  • Only our designated face painter is allowed to do face/body painting, as she has exclusive rights and staff to accommodate the crowd.

  • Lastly, let’s keep this a community event! Be mindful of your language and attitude to ensure everyone enjoys themselves.
